What do you do with your shoes when you come home? I tend to take mine off immediately because my feet usually hurt by the end of the day! If you don’t have a hall/coat closet near the front door, here are some ideas:
- Purchase some sort of organizer for shoes that you can keep near the door. Several stores like The Container Store and Ikea make them to match the decor of your home.
- Use a large laundry basket to toss them in and keep them contained.
- Find a cool closet organizer for your nearest closet and make it a habit to put the shoes away each evening when you get home.
- You may also be able to use an under-bed shoe organizer under a large piece of furniture near the door, like a sofa.
